✨ Hey, I’m Mia—the astrology-loving, scalp-obsessed apprentice (and future salon manager!) here at GROW Salon and Spa in the Brookside neighborhood of Kansas City.

I grew up in the salon world, so this space feels like home. I’ve always been tuned into the rhythm of what a great salon should feel like—welcoming, grounded, aligned, and flowing. Right now, I’m working through the final phase of my apprenticeship with Molly, learning advanced techniques behind the chair and soaking up everything I can about color, client care, and service flow. Once I complete the program, I’ll be stepping into a hybrid role—taking clients while also supporting GROW’s behind-the-scenes magic in a managerial position.

I’m deeply passionate about scalp health and energetics. Your hair tells a story, and it starts at the root—literally. I love helping clients reconnect with their scalp through personalized treatments that soothe, detoxify, and rebalance. Think of it as grounding energy work for your crown chakra (with essential oils and steam, of course).

When I’m not in the salon, I’m probably deep into a birth chart, journaling through a moon cycle, or vision boarding over iced coffee. I’m all about energy, intention, and creating experiences that feel just as good as they look.

My goal is to help GROW thrive from the inside out—whether that’s through meaningful client experiences, organizational flow, or helping you feel refreshed, aligned, and taken care of from root to soul.
