• Exfoliate your skin the night before your tan for the most even results
• Avoid lotions, oils, deodorant, and perfume the day of your appointment
• Wear loose, dark clothing after your tan while it develops
• Wax or shave at least 24 hours before your appointment
After your spray tan
• Wait 8–12 hours before showering unless directed otherwise
• Avoid sweating or getting wet while the tan develops
• Moisturize daily to extend the life of your tan
• Avoid exfoliating until you’re ready for the tan to fade
