Full-Time vs. Part-Time Options

We offer flexibility to fit your lifestyle and clientele:

  • Full-Time Booth Rental (4–5+ days/week)
    Consistent schedule, maximum access to our space, and full exposure in salon promotions.

  • Part-Time Booth Rental (2–3 days/week)
    Perfect for seasoned stylists easing into independence or balancing outside commitments.

Booth Rental Benefits

As a renter at GROW, you’ll enjoy:

  • Retail Commission: 15% on all Amika, SkinScript, and other salon retail.

  • Shared amenities: back bar, towels, snacks, break room, and stocked beverage station with an espresso machine.

Innitial 90 Day Growth Period

Booth rentals begin with a 90 day growth period designed to support a smooth transition into the space. At the end of this period, we’ll connect to review the experience, confirm fit, and discuss long term booth rental rates and contract options.

How We Support a Great Shared Space

  • Keep your station clean and help create a welcoming, brand aligned experience for guests.

  • Carry your own liability insurance and maintain an active cosmetology or esthetics license.

  • Be mindful of shared spaces like laundry, the break room, and common supplies so everything runs smoothly for everyone.

  • Show up professionally, including respectful communication, appropriate conversations in shared areas, and a polished personal and online presence.

Booth Rental Pricing

  • Full-Time (Weekly Rate)

    $240 per week
    Includes access to shared amenities, optional Mangomint access, one free vacation week every six months, and full use of the salon during operating hours.

    Part-Time (Daily Rate)

    $60 per day
    Minimum of two days per week required.
    Discounted rates available for stylists renting three or more days weekly.

    Daily Rate Breakdown (For Reference)

    Two days per week: $120/week
    Three days per week: $180/week
    Four days per week: $240/week
    Full-time becomes the best value at five+ days.

    Seasonal promotions and early sign-up incentives may be available.

Booth Rental FAQ

What days can I work?
GROW is available seven days a week. Tuesday–Saturday follow posted hours, and Sunday–Monday are “by appointment only,” giving renters full flexibility.

Do I bring my own color?
Yes. Renters supply their own back bar.
You may use GROW’s Redken color at a 30% upcharge, either full-time or as-needed.

Can I use Mangomint?
Yes. Renters can opt in for $35/month.
This includes online booking, texts, client notes, reporting, front desk support, and use of GROW’s payment system.

Do I have to use Mangomint?
No. You can use your own booking and payment system if you prefer.

How flexible is the schedule?
Very. Part-time renters commit to two set days per week.
Full-time renters have open access. Schedule changes can be requested quarterly.

Do renters appear in GROW’s marketing?
Yes, if you choose. All team members will be on the website, in team photos, newsletters, and social features.

Can I sell my own retail?
Yes. Renters earn 15% commission on GROW retail.
You may also sell your own retail with a valid Missouri Retail Sales License.

Do I help with cleaning?
Light daily tasks are shared. GROW provides professional cleaning for the deep stuff monthly.

What happens when I take time off?
Rent is due regardless of time off.
You receive one free rental week per every six months..

Do I keep my tips?
Yes, 100%.
You may accept tips directly or process them through Mangomint (if opted in).
As a self-employed renter, you’re responsible for reporting your income and tips.
